Lots of things to see like the Colosseum because it is truly amazing. It has to be seen up close to appreciate the scale of this achievement of the ancient Romans.
I recommend getting an audioguide, videoguide or tour guide as there is not much signage inside - we easily shared a videoguide (€6) between the two of us (one earphone for each person).
